For some reason this popped up in my feed or a search. I even wrote a book on some of this stuff (Cloud without Compromise — more on the K8s side) and I STILL GOT SOME GREAT VALUE from this. Thank you!!
I always compare VMs to my days in Java. "Write once test everywhere .... " .... I remember those JDKs days ... gong show.
Yep, I think that's a fair way of looking at it. It's sort of like a blueprint, once you have a container image you can create an infinite number of individual instances (containers) from that image.
I kind of wanted to know what's the difference between writing python scripts on my laptop using local host and writing python scripts via connecting database on server. My company is not really tech company and CTO gave me files which is Docker and I download it and run on my local host. Because he says" then you won't destroy the security and firewall for database and ask permission frequently. " I don't understand the difference. Not technical background. I had a few experience of writing python. You know all the courses and online courses and writing scripts on Jupyter notebook using local host and download dataset on Kaggle. So I really want to know if you can write an article for a layman like me:)

Really technically. I recently learned how to use Docker. However, the image is like the template? correct me if I'm wrong.

Loved the way you explained a very complex technical topic.
I love your writing. There's at least one sentence in every post that makes me laugh out loud. Any chance you'll write something on serverless soon?
Thank you :) yes serverless coming soon!
